Privacy Policy
How we handle and protect your data. Your privacy is our priority.
We Care About Your Privacy
File Fortress is built with a privacy-first philosophy. We keep minimal data on our servers - only what's absolutely necessary to provide you with account access and enforce subscription limits.
1. Introduction
At File Fortress, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our file management and cloud synchronization service. Please read this privacy policy carefully.
2. Information We Collect
Data Stored on Our Servers
We store only the following minimal information:
- Your name and email address - For account authentication and communication
- Device names - The names you choose when registering devices
- Number of remote storage accounts - A count of connected cloud storage providers
- Local tools availability - Simple yes/no flags for optional tools like FFmpeg or ExifTool
Why we collect this: This minimal information allows us to manage your account, ensure you stay within subscription tier limits, and display which file processing capabilities are available. That's it - no other purpose.
